How to enable 'JavaScript' settings

Use the following instructions to enable the "JavaScript" settings for your specific browser.

To determine your browser version, select the [Help] menu, then select the [About] menu item.

Please Note: If you are using a web browser other than Microsoft Internet Explorer, or older versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer, you will need to search for "JavaScript" within the browser help index to locate your browser specific instructions.

Internet Explorer - Version 6.x

  1. Select “Internet options” from the Tools menu.
  2. Click on the “Security” tab.
  3. Under the heading “Custom”, select the “Custom level” button.
  4. In the window that opens, scroll down towards the bottom of the list to the item “Scripting”.
  5. In the first option “Active scripting”, select the radio button “Enable”.
  6. Select “OK”, then “OK” again to confirm the settings and close the window.

Internet Explorer - Version 5.x


  1. Select “Internet options” from the Tools menu.
  2. Click on the “Security” tab.
  3. Under the heading “Custom”, select the “Custom level” button.
  4. In the window that opens, scroll down towards the bottom of the list to the item “Scripting”.
  5. In the first option “Active scripting”, select the radio button “Enable”.
  6. Select “OK”, then “OK” again to confirm the settings and close the window.
  7. Once you have updated your browser settings to enable cookies, close ALL of your open browser windows and login to the Service Connection.
